Westminster Community Charter School
Westminster Community Charter School, formerly known as Buffalo Public School 68, is a Buffalo charter school serving students from kindergarten all the way through eighth grade.
Westminster deeply embraces the community school framework of caring for the whole child – academically, socially, and emotionally – through personalized learning and family and community engagement. The school equips students with the skills they need, making education both equitable and accessible.
- Academics – Shaping young minds through thought provoking academics and dynamic educational technology.
- Technology and New Media – All students grades K–8 use Google Chrome Books.
- Curriculum – Advanced curriculum incorporating Common Core and next generation Science standards, Spanish and Algebra.
- Arts and Music – Students have exposure to Art, Music and Drama.
- After-School Programs and Clubs – Our after-school programs include Girls and Boys Basketball, Track, Flag Football, Student Council, International Language, Soccer and Cooking clubs, among others.
